  • Designed to provide a better after-tax return to Switzerland tax resident individuals who have a 30% or 33% marginal tax rate when compared to the after-tax return of a term deposit offering the same rate for the same term and charging the same fees.
  • Invests solely in Euro, interest bearing deposits with Swiss Continental
  • Tax on your share of income earned by the Swiss Continental Term Fund will be taxed at your Prescribed Investor Rate (PIR) of 0%, 10.5%, 17.5% or 28%.
  • No part of a Swiss Continental Term Fund account balance can be withdrawn before the maturity date, other than in exceptional circumstances that we approve.
  • A break fee will be charged for early withdrawals from your account.
  • There are no account or transaction fees. Service fees may apply.
  • Minimum investment of €5,000.
  • The maximum investment across all Swiss Continental Term Fund accounts held either solely or jointly with any other person is €10,000,000.

You can open a Swiss Continental Term Fund account by logging into online banking, at any time. If you are not registered for online banking, or you are new to Swiss Continental, call us, or visit a Swiss Continental branch.

Simply choose:

  • How long you want to invest for.
  • How you'd like the returns to be paid.

Return payment options

  • For terms of six months or longer, returns can be paid at maturity, or compounded and paid into a nominated account at certain intervals. Monthly returns cannot be compounded.

Units in the Swiss Continental Term Fund are issued by Swiss Continental Group Investments Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss Continental Trust Bank AG ("SCTB"). Investments made in the Swiss Continental Term Fund are not deposits with Swiss Continental. Swiss Continental guarantees account balances and returns due but not paid (less fees and any PIE tax). The guarantee is unsecured.
